Characteristics What are they and what do they do
There are four basic characteristics:
1 – Strength
This is physical strength.
2 – Stamina
Helps with sustained actions.
3 – Intellect
Anything that requires mental prowess.
4 – Finesse
How accurate you are.
All other skills are based off these. They will increase and decrease as the journey goes on depending what you do. I.e If you become a thug intellect can go down if that is all you do through the game, but strength will increase.
There is a wide range of skills that you may acquire. Ranging from coercing to building to burglary.
To illustrate here are some examples.
Goal is load a catapult and hit as many dummies.
John can load it with rocks the size of a mans torso (~ 100lb) and fire it by himself for 1 hour 45 minutes before he gets tired, but he will hit one dummy every time he releases.
Jane can load it with rock the size of a fat man (250) and fire it by herself for 3 hours before she gets tired; She will not hit very many dummies.
Rick can load it with rock the size of a small cow and fire it by himself for 5 HR 30 mins before he gets tired, but he will hit what he is aiming for half the time.
Able can load it with rock the size of an F-150 (~700 lb) and fire it by himself for 1 HR before he gets tired, but he will hit one most of the time he releases.
Learn and cast a fireball spells
John learns the spell in 15 min; conjures 5 fire balls at once hits everything every time for 50 mins.
Jane learns the spell in 5 min; conjures 7 fire balls at once misses most every time for 1.5 hours or a fireball the size of a elephant greater likely hood of hitting something every time.
Rick learns the spell in 1 day; conjures a fire ball hits what he wants half of the time for 2.75 hours.
Able learns the spell in half a day; conjures 3 fire ball hits what he wants most of the time for 30 mins.
